Japo Okworobu 'Impractical Practicality'

Japo Okworobu is a London based womenswear designer who graduated from London College of Fashion. 'Impractical Practicality' is a collection that celebrates individual self expression. Whilst all pieces showcase how practical fashion can be glamourised, this collection also brings awareness of the impracticality of clothes.

I saw the collection yesterday at a RAW London event, which was called EXPOSURE, and enjoyed how the garments naturally underline the beauty of female curves. Whilst the collection on the one hand exposes the wild beauty of a female body, it seems to enchain the body partly on the other hand. I also liked the unobtrusive choice of colours Okworobu used for the collection.
